Cars are what I love
I couldn’t wait to dive into taking the bug apart. After driving it around the circle and trying to get the engine tuned a bit, I decided it was just time to strip it down. Later I found out the reason it would not run very well. It was a mixture of 6 and 12 volt parts. It was just a mess.
My first car was a 1971 Olds Cutlass Convertible, but after many hours and getting it running, we discovered that the frame was shot. My dad was not interested in a frame off project.
So, I sold the Olds and bought a 1966 VW Beetle just about a year ago. Here’s what it looked like when I got it. Pictures can be deceiving.
